Current Research
Jenny’s master’s research will supplement a larger study on the sediment stabilizing effects of net-spinning caddisflies in snowmelt-dominated watersheds. During her undergraduate years, she completed a project investigating the effects of habitat fragmentation and light pollution on moth communities along the Colorado Front Range with Dr. Murphy at the University of Denver, as well as a project identifying which variables affect species selection among bushmeat hunters in the Lake Manyara region of Tanzania with Dr. Kioko. She is broadly interested in ecosystem ecology and how anthropogenic activities influence ecosystem health.
