The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) invites ALL education students to become members. Our organization is a global community dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading.
Our mission is to provide innovative solutions to promote the success of each child. ASCD provides expert and innovative solutions in professional development and educational leadership essential to the way educators learn, teach, and lead.
Meetings happen 4 times a year.
- End of January or early February "Ten Strategies to Consider When Working With Parents."
- Early April a person from OPI will talk about the CCSS and possibly other topics.
To apply, pick up a membership form outside of Reid 121 where Lynn Kelting-Gibson (faculty advisor) will answer any questions you may have. Membership is $29.
