Kappa Delta Pi
By becoming a part of MSU Kappa Delta Pi, members gain immediate access to a wealth
of professional development, networking, and leadership
building resources. Past events have included panel discussions, educator film showings, chapter socials and literacy outreach service events. KDP members immediately become part of a vast network of professional educators committed to furthering the advancement of education and supporting the development of global citizens.

Kappa Delta Pi is an international education honor society founded in 1911 with the expressed mission of, “striving to sustain an honored community of diverse educators by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership, and service.”

Membership is open to all MSU education majors who have completed at least 12 credits within their program of study and hold a 3.5 GPA or higher for Undergraduate students and a 3.75 GPA for Graduate students. Our chapter holds a new member initiation ceremony each semester to welcome new inductees and connect with members of the greater MSU academic community. An annual membership dues of $55 (national & local combined) will be assessed to help support KDP programming, scholarships and member outreach efforts.
