MSU Testing Service

The
Montana State University Testing Service provides a wide range of academic
and professional exams to students and the public. The service provides both
computerized and paper examinations. All tests must be scheduled in advance.
General Test Information
- Dates and times for national exams are established by the various
testing companies. Please contact us or select from the links at
right for information on registering for exams.
- All exam appointments must be made in advance; the Testing Lab
is not large enough to handle walk-ins. This includes university
make-up exams. correspondence tests, Miller Analogies Tests, ACT
Residual, and distance learning tests.
- We furnish pencils and paper for all exams.
- Please bring 2 forms of ID with you on your test day. One must
be a signed photo ID. Acceptable ID's include:
- Social Security Card
- Driver's License
- State Identification Card

- Passport
- Green Card

Time is up. Put your pencils down.
As jobs become more specialized and
more professions require licenses, people who thought
their test-taking years were far behind them are
facing examinations once again.
"Today, mechanics, firefighters,
financial planners, computer specialists, medical assistants and
even those in clerical positions often require
special certification before employers will hire them", says Carla
McLaughlin, testing service manager at Montana State University.
To give professionals
access to these exams, MSU recently contracted with two new testing
companies to offer nearly any professional or academic exam in
