Summer-Only Program

The Department of Health and Human Development offers a masters degree program for teachers/coaches in the summer school session. This program is focused for the practitioners in public and private schools in the areas of health enhancement, physical education, health education and/or athletic coaching. |
Students receive a solid foundation in topical areas such as coaching principles, sports psychology, curriculum design, research strategies/techniques, teaching strategies and valuable skills such as stress management.
A minimum of 30 graduate credits is required and can be accomplished over
three summers.
