Undergraduate Advising
2008-10 Catalog
 |
Once you have formally declared your major, you are assigned an advisor within your area of study. He or she will help you shape your course work to meet you goals.
Our advisors are here to help you:
- Choose a major
- Determine career goals
- Establish semester schedules
- Meet graduation requirements

|
The advisors within the Department of Health and Human Development consist of both peer and faculty advisors. We strongly encourage students to meet with their advisors.
All majors can stop by room 121 in the Hosaeus PE Complex, call 994-4001, or e-mail hhdadvising@montana.edu to make an appointment to meet with an advisor in the Advising Center.

FAQ
|
| |
| Can I drop in, call or e-mail my advisor with questions throughout the semester? |
| Of course! If the questions will take some time, we suggest that you make an appointment. This will ensure that you have enough time to cover everything. |
| |
| Who are peer advisors and what do they do? |
| Our peer advisors are current undergraduate students in Health & Human Development who help students: understand their options, better understand the university curriculum and requirements, establish semester schedules, learn about other resources located on campus. |
