Hands-On Experience for the Real World
Students
in our college get hands-on experience through teaching, research, and outreach
under the mentorship of some of the most talented faculty in the
nation. Our graduates find satisfying and successful careers in school districts,
government agencies, and private companies around the world. Employers seek
our graduates because they have a proven reputation of having excellent abilities,
work ethics and academic preparation.
Our programs
are enhanced by facilities such as microcomputer laboratories, a math/science
resource center, a teachers’ resource
center, an instructional design laboratory, a media laboratory, and health/recreation
facilities and
laboratories for food science, child development and movement science.
A Student-Centered College
As a student-centered college, we work hard to ensure students have
the opportunities and support they need to succeed in school, in their
careers and in their
lives. Our Student Success campaign provides mentoring for students
as they transition into college life, during their college career,
and as they prepare for life after graduation. The program also has a scholarship
endowment to help make college a possibility for all dedicated individuals.
