Students attend MSU as a LIFE Scholar for 1-4 years, working toward meeting the requirements for earning a MSU LIFE Scholars Certificate of Completion. Students are encouraged to attend a campus tour before applying to the program.

Students submit an application packet and select one of three program tracks.

  • 4 years - Students take classes for 3 years and participate in campus internships in their 4th year.
  • 2 years - Students take classes for 1 year and participate in campus internships in their 2nd year.
  • 1 year - Students participate in Project SEARCH and complete three, 10-week internship rotations.
