  • MSU Symphony Orchestra Concerto Concert Friday, February 20, 7:30pm Friday, February 20th, 2015 from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm at Howard Hall, Reynolds Recital Hall

    The MSU Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Tobin Stewart, will perform works by Jerod Tate, Edvard Grieg, Emmanuel Séjourné, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. The concert will feature the 2015 student concerto winners- Jessica Wambeke on the second movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor and Andrew Miller on Séjourné's Concerto for Marimba and Strings.

    Vox Novus and the Montana State University School of Music are pleased to present Circuit Bridges: New Nodes, a concert of new electroacoustic music representing a cross-section of the diversity of music being composed today. New Nodes is a travelling program that creates bridges on a growing network of electronic music communities around the world. This specially curated program presents a cross section of electroacoustic being made today. The concert features music by Dan Abatemarco (Speak Onion), Daniel Blinkhorn, Chris Cresswell, Melissa Grey, Elainie Lillios, Mike McFerron, David Morneau, Milica Paranosic, and Robert Voisey.
