Club, Leader & Advisor Spotlight
Each week, a Club, Leader or Advisor will be in the "Spotlight" section of Club News and featured on the OAE Facebook page. If you want to nominate an individual (self-nominations are accepted) or your club to be considered, please email studentorgs@montana.edu:
- Photo (jpeg) of the individual or organization you are nominating
- Answer the following questions; if nominating someone else and you cannot answer all of the questions below, just provide the answers you can and we will follow up with the individual or club to collect the rest of the information.
If nominating a Club Leader:
*If you wish, you can submit their name, email and club affiliation only and OAE will follow-up with them to get the following information. If self-nominating then please provide answers to the following:
- Name of Leader.
- Club Name.
- Position within club and how long they have been in that position.
- Hometown.
- Year and major.
- Why they chose to be part of this club and why they pursued a leadership role?
- Personal goals for upcoming year?
- Favorite thing about being part of this club?
- Accomplishments (personal or club) they are proud of?
- Favorite thing about MSU or Bozeman.
- Favorite quote OR someone who has been influential in their life.
- Anything else you want to share, we welcome!
If nominating a Club Advisor:
*If you wish, you can submit their name, email and club affiliation only and OAE will follow-up with them to get the following information. If self-nominating then please provide answers to the following:
- Name of Advisor
- Club Name.
- How long they have served as advisor for this club?
- How long have they worked at MSU?
- Position and Department they work in.
- Why they chose to be a club advisor?
- Favorite thing about being an advisor to this club?
- Club accomplishments they are particularly proud of.
- Anything else you want to share, we welcome!
If nominating a Student Organization:
- Club Name.
- When was your club started?
- What is your purpose or mission?
- How many members do you have, on average?
- Upcoming events?
- Goals for the school year?
- Recent accomplishments?
- Best thing about being part of this club?
- Anything else you want to share, we welcome!
