We are currently seeking student leaders for these trips. BreaksAway Leaders are a vital component of the MSU BreaksAway program! We are seeking 14 leaders (2 per trip) to fill this role.

Eagle Mount’s Saturday Night Out program
Saturday Night Out is designed to give parents and caregivers a respite and an opportunity to socialize for the participants.
We play games, sing, do crafts, and create edible art! A filling meal is provided and the evening often ends with movie time.
Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the Saturday Night Out program. We strive for a one-to-one ratio of volunteers to participants. Groups from service organizations or clubs are welcome to volunteer!

Community Cafe Volunteers Needed!
The MSU Office of Activities and Engagement (OAE) invites the MSU campus community to join us in hosting dinners on Wednesday evenings at the Community Café, a program of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. The need for food assistance in the Gallatin Valley has increased four-fold over the last five years and it has been in response to this significant surge in demand that the food bank started the café. The Community Café is open seven evenings per week 365 days per year and the OAE is responsible to rally between 5 and 7 volunteers each Wednesday evening to seat, serve and engage with the customers of the café. The café provides a hot dinner to anyone who wishes to join them at their building located at 302 North 7th Ave. (this was formerly a Frontier Pies restaurant) between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
The OAE is now scheduling volunteers to serve on any Wednesday evenings. Volunteers at the Community Café should arrive by 4:30 p.m. for their shift and will receive a short orientation to the facility and the volunteer positions available that evening. Volunteers must commit to staying until 7:30 p.m. so that they can assist with clean up after service ends at 7:00 p.m. Can you commit to even one Wednesday evening this summer or during the approaching academic year? Here's how to get involved....
Please email email@example.com with Community Café in the subject line. Please tell us the date or dates you would like to serve and also include your full name, your affiliation with MSU (faculty, staff, alumni, student etc.), email address and both a campus and an evening telephone number that we may use to contact you should something come up on the day you are set to volunteer. Your information will be added to our database of volunteers (this list is not viewed or shared with anyone outside the OAE) and you will be scheduled for the date(s) you indicate in your email. Our office will send you a reminder email on the Tuesday before you are set to serve and this email will include guidelines on appropriate dress, directions to the café, and information on where to park your car.
