Wade Hill, PhD, RN  
 

Dr. Hill and Dr. Butterfield direct the ERRNIE RCT study. Dr. Hill's main research interests are behavioral aspects of home environmental health management; environmental health tracking; risk communication in environmental health; psychosocial determinants of health. His main instructional areas are principles of public health; epidemiology and population-based nursing practice; program planning and evaluation; health behavior theory.

Wade Hill received his bachelor’s degree in nursing and his master’s degree in community health nursing from the University of Wyoming. His doctoral degree in public health was completed at Oregon State University.

Away from work, Wade enjoys the company of his wife Nikki and son Cade. He moved to Montana in 2003 where he takes pleasure in fly fishing, bird hunting, gardening, and tending to his horses.
