Electronic Thesis Checklist for Master’s Students

Submit the following required, paperwork to the Division of Graduate Education with the electronic version of your thesis:

  • 1 printed Approval page - signed by the chair of your committee and the department head (The approval page in the electronic thesis should have typed names instead of signature and date lines.)   

  • 1 signed Certificate of Approval form from www.montana.edu/etd/submit/ETDApprovalform.pdf with all required signatures
The following requirements are unique to the ETD process:
  • Include a copyright page as the second, physical page of your front matter (not numbered and not counted) (even if you are not paying to register your copyright) with the following information:

All Rights Reserved

  • The Approval page and the Statement of Permission to Use page should have typed names instead of signature and date lines.    
  • A final pdf version should be emailed to Ginny Heimann at vheimann@montana.edu or submitted to the Division of Graduate Education on a CD.
