Research Interests:

Energy: Much of my research has focused on understanding the economics and public policy implications of small and community scale alternative energy projects.  Past projects have focused on-farm and community scale oilseed processing, biodiesel production and small wind turbines. 

Consumer Economics: Retirement planning, saving and investing have been the focus of some of my past projects.  Helping Montanans stay up to date on the ever changing laws and regulations affecting consumer issues is an interesting and challenging area.
