- Beneficiary Deeds & Controlling What Happens to Your Remains (Montana Right of Disposition Act): The advantages and disadvantage of beneficiary deeds are explored. The 2009 legislature passed a law that allows Montanans legal control over the disposition of their remains after death. The law also designates who has the right to make funeral and disposition decisions for a deceased Montanan if he or she hasn’t made prior arrangements. February 18, 2010 (58 minutes)
