• Early Career Success Certificate. Please join us for this exciting opportunity!

    The Early Career Success Certificate requires a total of 6 workshop credits. To earn the Certificate, faculty need to take 5 of the 6 workshops listed below. Individuals can watch recordings of sessions and submit the Outside Activity form posted on the Center for Faculty Excellence web site.

    For the 6th credit, faculty can attend all 6 workshops listed below OR take 5 of the 6 listed below and attend another CFE workshop as an elective.  Faculty in first 3 years of employment are eligible for the Certificate.

    • Best Practice Pedagogies: Active Learning – September 5, 2018
    • Intro to Grants and Finding Funding – September 11, 2018
    • Title IX – September 26, 2018
    • Suicide Prevention – October 9, 2018
    • Academic Advising – October 17, 2018
    • Academic Misconduct- October 31, 2018

     

     To receive credit for any of these workshops faculty should sign the Record of Attendance that will be distributed at these events.

    A special event will be held at the end of the year for everyone who completes the certificate

  • Early Career Mentoring Program

The Center for Faculty Excellence encourages faculty to participate in our early career mentoring program. One on one matches will be made between faculty across colleges.
