| Successful Scholarship Campaign Concludes |
| MSU's Putting Students First Scholarship Campaign concluded December 31. The four and a half year campaign sought to increase the funding for endowed scholarships at MSU. The $18 million goal was surpassed by nearly $5 million with $22,688,902 being raised from 3,826 donors. Approximately 100 new scholarship endowments were established during the campaign effort. The nearly $22.7 million raised will generate an additional $908,000 a year in scholarship dollars to help recruit, retain and reward deserving students. |
| Seeking gifts for scholarships will always be an important element of MSU's fundraising efforts. The success of this campaign, the largest scholarship campaign to date, lays the foundation for many successful endeavors to come.
