College of Arts & Architecture
architecture The School of Architecture is dedicated to an aggressive, enduring process of growth and development in pursuit of artistic and academic distinction. From visiting lectures to advancing technology, from student scholarships to study abroad, from research to project completion, the School of Architecture impacts the local community while influencing the profession of architecture world-wide. Through an integration of landscape, theory, art and architecture, access to award winning faculty and intense
hands-on studio work, students graduate with a global perspective and understanding that architecture provides not only function, but vision. Students from this program build the future - answering community needs with artistic design representing regional identity. Endowed funds are critical to the continued success of the School, providing the necessary financial support for its programs, students and faculty.

Endowment funds are deposited with and managed through the Montana State University Foundation (MSUF), which provides a 4% payout on endowment income with the excess earnings reinvested to grow the fund and protect against future fluctuations.

To ensure continued success, the School's goal is to raise $125,000 per year in endowed funds for a total of $500,000 by 2005, enhancing existing scholarships while furthering the reach of the Architecture Endowment for Excellence. Pride of place, global vision, and an environment breeding excellence - this is the future of the School of Architecture - where architecture matters.
