First Year Initiative Events
The FYI Program and the Dean of Students Office team up to bring many great events to freshmen students. All events are free to all students and are an excellent way to meet other students, faculty and staff.

FALL STUDY BREAK

Our Fall Study Break Event brings you an endless supply of pancakes and brain food for your finals week studying needs. Come to the SUB and let your professors, administrators and MSU staff serve you food to fuel your brain. Great live music, giveaways and games to help you relax and prepare for those ever anticipated finals! |

SPRING STUDY BREAK

This Mexican-themed event takes place during finals week of the spring semester and includes tons of free games, prizes, tacos, treats and much more. Live Mariachi music and faculty and staff on hand to help with last minute study help and advice. |

CATAPALOOZA |
THE kick-off event of the fall. Don't miss this extravaganza of food, activities, and music. Local business and organizations, as well as your favorite campus groups and departments gather on the Centennial Mall to welcome you to MSU and load you up with information and free goodies. The community stage hosts local musicians and entertainers.
