The First Year Initiative (FYI) Program is:
- A free resource for students of any collegiate level, especially our first-year students
- A center for academic resources and assistance
- An opportunity to develop relationships with faculty,
staff, and students
- A guide through sometimes stressful situations
- A friendly face and an inviting atmosphere
- A support center to assist in the transition from
high school to college
- A resource and contact center for parents
