Alpha Omicron Pi

Alpha Omicron Pi's greatest strength is our members... unique as individuals, yet bound together by the common bond of friendship. Since 1897, over 126,000 women have found fun and friendship in the sisterhood of AOII. Our members have a place to call home, a place to find a friend, and a place to be themselves. We also support our members through programming and leadership development. Our desire is to help our members become the best they can be - personally, professionally and philanthropically.

Thanks to the vision of many remarkable women, AOII enjoyed tremendous success during our first 100 years. Alpha Omicron Pi has chartered 178 collegiate chapters, and over 320 alumnae chapters located throughout the United States and Canada. Our members enjoy friendship in AOII for a lifetime. As we boldly focus on our second century, we envision a future even more glorious than our past.

Chapter Update

Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi has started of the semester strong by recruiting 25 (quota +1) amazing women during formal recruitment, bringing the total number of members to 63 after initiation on November 9th.

The AOII's have been very busy this semester working within the Bozeman and campus community. We kicked off the semester right by helping the town bleed blue and gold by painting the windows of three businesses downtown. We also had two members, Gianna Vanata and Alli Spika, on the homecoming court. We are so proud to say that our beloved sister, Alli, was crowned the 2012 Homecoming Queen! Also during the Homecoming game, Alpha Omicron Pi was honored with the ServeMontana Volunteer of the Game award for our commitment to service in the Bozeman community.

AOII's consistently volunteer for organizations such as CAP mentoring, the Cancer Support Community, Eagle Mount, and many others. Alpha Omicron Pi not only supports the Bozeman and campus community, but also our fellow Fraternities and Sororities. AOII's captured the title of Rose Bowl Champions in Sig Ep's second annual powderpuff tournament. We also won the sorority participation award in AGD's annual Trick or Treat for change event.

Parent's Weekend at MSU is always a busy weekend for AOII's. We held our Run for the Roses event, which had a record-breaking attendance and raised $1,500. We also had a parent's brunch that weekend held at the house for our amazing families who helped raise $1,100 in a silent auction. Alpha Phi Chapter is striving again to reach a Ruby Level for Standards of Excellence for the second year in a row! A shout out to our fellow Alpha Phi alumna, Heidi Sherick, for being selected as a winner for MSU's Pure Gold award!
