Transfer and General Education

Gallatin College’s Transfer and General Education degrees are designed to meet the needs of students who are undecided about their educational goals, prefer small class sizes, need academic skills improvement, or desire a more gradual entrance into the university.  Gallatin College MSU offers:

  • Evening courses to accommodate working individuals
  • Small class sizes
  • Developmental Math and Writing courses for students to build skills for required courses in their degree program
  • College Studies courses that address time management, test-taking, and reading strategies
  • Academic Development Center (ADC) located on the MSU campus that offers free tutoring for Math and Writing, a computer lab with software required for academic courses, and study space for individual or group study.
