Gallatin Earth Celebration

Electronic Waste and Glass Recycling

Gallatin Zero Waste Coalition
Saturday, April 21st
Gallatin County Fair Grounds, 9am-4pm

On Saturday, April 21st from 8:30am-1:00pm, The Bozeman Beautification Advisory Board, City of Bozeman, and Friends of Bogert Park will host a citywide clean-up of parks, trails, neighborhoods, and other public spaces. Citizens will meet at Bogert Park starting at 8:30am for clean up supplies, community maps, and coffee and baked goods donated by Clark's Fork restaurant! After collecting waste and recyclables, volunteers are invited to the Park for a post clean-up celebration featuring food from Island Noodle, live music, raffle prizes, children's activities, and a showcase of local businesses and organizations that support a sustainable Bozeman.

The Gallatin Zero Waste Coalition (GZWC) is holding its 3rd annual "Get Off Your Glass" Recycling Event April 21st at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds (main parking lot off of Tamarack St) from 9am-4pm. Take this first step to reduce your waste footprint and keep your glass out of the landfill. SAVE YOUR GLASS and bring it to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Clean-Up Day. The glass collected will be taken by Full Circle Recycling to the TMC Gravel Facility and used for local projects.

The glass crushing fees are funded entirely by donations. Local individuals and businesses are invited to "Adopt a Ton" of glass. Only $29 pays for crushing a ton of glass. Donations may be made by visiting http://www.yellowstonebusiness.org/donate/gzwc/ or by writing a check on the day of the event.
