ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist
I graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Health and Human Development/pre physical therapy. I am currently certified as an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. I have also procured CrossFit L1 Trainer and CrossFit Kettlebell Instructor certificates. I grew up playing soccer and in college I became interested in martial arts. For several years I headed up the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club for students.
Aside from athletics I absolutely love the outdoors and enjoy spending time climbing, biking, hiking, hunting and fishing. I specialize in Olympic Weightlifting, functional training, kettlebells, and strength & conditioning. I am available to help you meet your fitness goals. I find simplicity and hard work to be the most effective at getting bigger, stronger, and leaner or whatever your goal may be. I am equipped to help you get there but I won't and can't do it for you.

The fitness community is ever growing. New knowledge and studies are developed every day, as a trainer it is my responsibility to help clients reach their goals utilizing this current information. I believe in always improving through an understanding of health and wellness. I give my best effort in making sure everyone has the opportunity to better themselves, provided they too are willing to put the work in.
My fitness qualifications include NETA Personal Trainer Certification, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. I believe functional movement training can help anyone see improvement across a broad range of desires including sport specific goals, injury prevention, increased work capacity, and overall health of the body and mind.
Currently, I run the MSU FitPit club sport team and enjoy many different types of sports and outdoor activities. When you see me around the fitness center feel free to ask me questions.
I am currently working on graduating from Montana State University with a degree in Kinesiology. Along with playing soccer most of my life, I have previously been an assistant soccer coach for Butte High and Great Falls CMR girls' soccer programs, as well as club soccer in Butte, Great Falls, and Bozeman. Being physically fit and injury free has always been a high priority for all teams that I have coached.
My passion is to take any challenging situation that I cross paths with and take it on. With each new challenge, in each day, we have an opportunity to grow as a person and become successful.
As an employee with Montana State Athletics, I have the opportunity to not only watch Student-Athletes grow physically, but to grow as individuals as well. This is a philosophy that I bring with me into the gym every day.

I earned a Bachelors Degree in Sports Science from Lasell College in 2011 and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at El Paso. I changed my major from Athletic Training to Sports Science because I realized that I had a real passion in helping others achieve their goals.After college, I obtained my personal trainer certification through the ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association) and most recently became a Level 1 USA Weightlifting Sports performance coach. I do however aspire to obtain my Strength and Conditioning certification in the upcoming months. While in college, I played club rugby and also learned and practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When I am not in the gym, I enjoy watching sports, reading up on current articles in training, and working on my car.

I believe that fitness is the beginning of everything that most people want in life: health, vitality, beauty, strength, confidence, and self-respect. I am dedicated to creating a client-specific program to improve the overall fitness of my clients and take pride in helping and motivating clients to reach their goals. As a NETA Certified Personal Trainer, I believe that functional strength, core stability, flexibility, cardiovascular exercise, and proper nutrition are fundamental to achieving any and all goals you may have set for yourself. The majority of my experience is in the area of weight loss and overall fitness.I enjoy numerous outdoor activities and continuing my education in the vastly growing fitness industry.
