I am here to help you. I will provide you with quality, personalized fitness programs as well as maximize the benefit of our training sessions. My undergraduate career was at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington where I played collegiate level soccer, ultimate frisbee, and was an outdoor recreation guide. I recently graduated from Colorado State University with a Master's Degree in Health and Exercise Science. Also, through the NSCA, I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Not only do I like working as a fitness consultant, I love anything to do with the outdoors; skiing, hiking, biking, playing soccer, etc. A few of my training specialties include:

Jocelyn Larson

Specialization: I specialize in athletic performance and flexibility training.

Fitness Philosophy: I believe that physical fitness should be fun and specific to every individual. Physical fitness is not only crucial for a healthy body, but also a healthy mind. We spend many days at the fitness center because we feel we have to, but we need to remember that we are here to have fun! I want to help my clients set goals that are suitable for themselves and design an appropriate plan for those goals. Really listening and focusing on the client enables me to find a program that is going to work best for them. I promise to help motivate you to achieve your best!

Fitness Background: I enjoy doing most physical activities outside, biking, hiking, climbing, yoga, skiing and running are a few of my favorites. I am currently active in many of these sports and challenged myself to run the 2010 Billings Marathon. I have always enjoyed doing physical activities and vow to continue doing so throughout my lifetime!

Kevin Erickson

ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist

I graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. in Health and Human Development/pre physical therapy. I am currently certified as an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach. I have also procured CrossFit L1 Trainer and CrossFit Kettlebell Instructor certificates. I grew up playing soccer and in college I became interested in martial arts. For several years I headed up the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club for students.

Aside from athletics I absolutely love the outdoors and enjoy spending time climbing, biking, hiking, hunting and fishing. I specialize in Olympic Weightlifting, functional training, kettlebells, and strength & conditioning. I am available to help you meet your fitness goals. I find simplicity and hard work to be the most effective at getting bigger, stronger, and leaner or whatever your goal may be. I am equipped to help you get there but I won't and can't do it for you.

Shawn Visintin

I was born in California and was raised in both Montana and Hawaii. I have spent my entire life involved in sports and fitness. I was a Navy SEAL candidate in 2009 until I suffered injuries that forced my withdrawal from the program.

In my short 6 years now as a Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Lifestyle Coach I have held many National Level Certifications in the industry. I feel I owe it to all of my clients to better myself every single day, helping you achieve the highest possible goals. I have spent time training a wide range of clients from every area of fitness but I consider my expertise to be in the related fields of Sports Performance, Military Fitness, Functional Training, Corrective Exercise, and Injury Prevention.

Briana Bywaters

ACSM Certified Personal Trainer

I moved to Bozeman, MT from the Seattle area in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, which I recently completed. During my studies, I became motivated to become a personal trainer, in which I completed the ACSM certified personal trainer certification.

As an athlete, growing up I encountered obstacles with my physical body and became motivated to learn how to modify to move forward. These setbacks taught me how to train with a primary focus on proper form and forced me to find the line between pushing myself and putting my body in danger. These experiences make me dedicated to wanting to help others achieve their goals and keep them motivated throughout the process.

Figuring out how the human body works is a passion of mine. I would love to share my knowledge of programming with you in order to help you achieve your goals. Schedule a goal assessment with me today!

Alex Irick

I moved to Bozeman in 2010 after graduating high school from Arvada, Colorado in pursuit of a degree and to play hockey for the MSU club hockey team.

I recently acquired my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and am in the process of obtaining my ACSM personal trainer certification. Currently, I run the MSU FitPit student club which is a competitive training effort that drives strength and metabolic conditioning.

I believe functional movement training can enhance normal body movements, reduce the chance of injury, increase work capacity, and improve the health of the mind and body.

Outside of the gym I enjoy playing many different types of sports and anything outdoors. When you see me around the fitness center, feel free to ask me questions.
