  • How many credits are required for the Interdisciplinary PhD to graduate?
    • This program requires 60 credits, with between 18-30 total dissertation credits. For more information on doctoral degree requirements please refer to the Graduate School Policy Page.
  • What are the advantages of pursuing the IIP PhD?
    • The IIP program allows students to work across disciplinary boundaries to address big challenges that cross overmultiple and diverse disciplines. The student receives broad and in-depth training on the subject matters they research.
  • How much flexibility is allowed in meeting doctorate program requirements?
    • The IIP is like any other doctoral program; must meet all doctoral requirements (see the Graduate School Policy Page for Degree Requirements)
