Upcoming Events

By Lauren Cerretti

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a few events and pieces of information with you all.

On February 17th at 11am in SUB 233 there will be a Public Speaking seminar brought to you by the Division of Graduate Education.  Toastmaster Tom Stenzel will be your host and offer advice and strategies dealing with public speaking.  As always, there will be snacks provided but please bring your lunch if you need to.  Please join us!

March 4th at 1:30pm in SUB 233 is my Graduate Writing Seminar, offered every semester.  I’ll give a brief presentation about tutoring services and general writing and have a handout of writing tips available.  I invite you to ask questions and bring your friends.  I’ll bring snacks and you should  feel free to bring your own, too.

The Grad Writing Email Tips article has been updated for those of you who don’t receive the “grad writing tip” emails from me.  The article is useful even if you do receive the emails because the tips are all there, neatly packaged for your quick review.

I hope your semester is going well and I hope you’ll email me to learn more about tutoring or to set up an appointment.  Email tutoring is available as well as traditional appointments.  Please email me at msu.grad.tutor@gmail.com .
