
The ASMSU Sustainability Center is the student-funded office for sustainability at Montana State University. Focused on engaging students in the process of making the university more environmentally and socially responsible, the office catalyzes student initiative into lasting change and provides a framework for effective administration-student collaboration. The Center offers student employment and internship opportunities developing outreach programs, events, and strategic initiatives in addition to ongoing services, such as recycling.

Our Programs
ASMSU RecyclingASMSU Recycling is a student-funded program with services performed by student employees. MSU Climate Action & Sustainability PlanningAs the student-government voice for sustainability, the ASMSU Sustainability Center facilitates student involvement and input in how MSU addresses sustainability issues and its obligations associated with the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment, signed by former President Gamble in 2008. Take Back the Tap InitiativeThe Sustainability Center has partnered with the City of Bozeman and a variety of campus partners to promote this this nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the environmental and health concerns related to bottled water. University Food Service offers beverage discounts to students with reusable containers and the Hoseaus Fitness Center is selling Take Back the Tap water bottles. All sales support the ASMSU Recycling program. |
