Exercise Physiology

Earn a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Development with an option in Exercise Physiology.

Graduate students in exercise physiology will customize their programs for future employment within a variety of fields including:

  • Clinical and/or cardiac rehabilitation centers
  • Sports medicine facilities
  • Fitness/wellness facilities
  • Clinical and fitness equipment companies
  • Coaching
  • Future pursuit of a doctoral degree

Nutrition and Exercise

Earn a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Development with an option in Nutrition and Exercise.

Understanding the interaction between exercise and nutrition is one key to understanding the influence of lifestyle and exercise training on health and disease. Students in this degree option
work to integrate information relating to obtain dietetic registration.  In addition to an undergraduate degree in nutrition or exercise science, students with a science background are encouraged to apply.

Nutrition/Sustainable Food Systems

Earn a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Development with an emphasis in Sustainable Food Systems.


Graduate students in Sustainable Food Systems will study sustainable food production, food preparation and
processing, distribution, nutrition, and community food security in order to better understand how food systems influence health.
