I was born and raised in Massachusetts and received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Boston College, an M.Ed. degree in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University, and I have completed doctoral course work in Curriculum and Teaching with a specialization in Early Childhood Education at Boston University. I have more than fifteen years of teaching experience. My work as an educator has ranged from holding the position of assistant director of a daycare center, to developing and implementing inquiry-based science experiences for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged students, to lecturing and leading discussions among education majors as a Teaching Fellow at Boston University.
