Montana Licensure Information | Is Distance Learning Right for Me?

This program provides 12 of the 18* required course work credits toward the Montana Licensed Addiction Counselor credential. It also meets the criteria for the national Master Addiction Counselor certification.

*Those with a master's degree from a CACREP-accredited or equivalent counseling program may have met the additional 6 credits of coursework. Those with a bachelor's degree will need additional course work. Please read the educational requirements.   • Courses are limited to 20 students per session
  • Courses are completely online and run though MSU's Extended University.
  • Courses are $400 per credit.
