Family Career Community Leaders of America
(FCCLA)
Collaboratively, the Montana Office of Public Instruction, the MSU Information
Technology Center and the Department of Health and Human Development
developed a web-site for managing the state conference registration of Montana
FCCLA members. Each year over 1,400 secondary students participate in the state
conference. Montana is the first state to move to a web-based registration process.
4-H Foods Project
The students in HDCF 335 Program Planning each year provide the leadership for
the Gallatin County 4-H Foods Project. We have been successful in both fund-raising and in receiving grants from the 4-H Foundation to provide instruction at a
minimal cost to 4-H youth.
4-H Club Leader
The students in EDSD 459 and HDCF 335 lead the Gallatin County 4-H Dagnabid club. Planning and implementing 11 club meetings a year for a group of about 20 youth ranging in age from 6 - 18 years.
