Mountains: Recreation Resource Risk

The 2nd Annual International Mountain Day kicks off Wednesday December 11th. Starting at 6pm the Weaver Room of the Emerson Cultural Center will showcase world class Mountain Exhibitors based right here in Montana. At 7pm, the remainder of the evening moves to the Crawford Theater and will be filled with inspiring and thought-provoking presentations focused on New Discoveries in Snow Science as well as Avalanche Forecasting and Awareness. Special guest speakers including Dr. Jordy Hendrikx, Dr. Ed Adams, and Doug Chabot will share their experiences and knowledge of the ever changing mountainous world we live in.
