International Street Food Bazaar
Take a Gourmet Trip Around the World!
THE INTERNATIONAL STREET FOOD BAZAAR is an exciting intercultural
gathering that
has a 27 year history on the MSU campus. International students are the
stars of this springtime event as they create booths to represent their home
countries and prepare traditional foods to sell in a street market
atmosphere. Music and a variety of entertainment complete the festivities that is attended by
approximately 3,000 people from MSU and the Bozeman community.
The 29th International Street Food Bazaar will take place in February 2010.
The International Street Food Bazaar is a great community event that draws thousands of people each year to MSU to enjoy homemade cuisine from over 25 different countries. For a small entry fee, $1-$3 (MSU Students get in free courtesy of ASMSU) guests are able to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the world, all in their own backyard. MSU international students prepare and cook food unique to their own countries and sell these delicious treats for a fee ranging from $0.50- $3.00. Nowhere else can you experience the flavors of the world in such a wonderful setting. Students provide entertainment by performing traditional dances, singing songs, and playing traditional instruments. There's no chance of getting bored at the Bazaar!
We look forward to seeing you there! For more information contact Deborah Chiolero at 994-4031, chiolero@montana.edu.
