A letter of intent from the student outlining educational objectives, purpose of study, and specific terms and dates of attendance at MSU.

Uniform Application for Admission (including Self Report form for entering freshmen who have graduated from a U.S. high school fewer than three years prior to the semester in which they intend to enroll) and US$30 application fee.

High school transcript sent directly from the high school with all four years of high school courses posted or a supplemental transcript from the international high school attended, if this work is not posted on the domestic transcript. All foreign transcripts must include an English translation. The graduation date must be clearly posted.

Official scores from ACT or SAT sent directly from the testing agency (for students who have graduated fewer than three years prior to the semester in which they intend to enroll).

Financial Certificate guaranteeing the required minimum funds.

Official secondary or post-secondary transcripts. An evaluation by Educational Credential Evaluators must be completed for any post-secondary level course work completed outside the U.S. or in non-English-speaking Canada.

Entering freshmen who graduated fewer than three years prior to the semester in which they intend to enroll must have ACT or SAT scores sent from the testing agency to the Office of Admissions.

Photocopy of both sides of the Permanent Resident card.
