Program Overview

Euromed Marseille, founded in 1872, is located in France's third largest city. The college is made up of several smaller schools, and has partnerships with various French and European universities. Approximately 1400 students are enrolled in the business program, so classes are small and personalized.

Academic Program
Euromed Marseille offers classes in such areas as: Applied Finance, Sports Management, Social Services Management, Urban Policy and Town Planning, Retailing and Agribusiness, and more.

Language of Instruction
All classes are offered in English.

Eligibility
Students who have completed one full academic year of university level work at MSU with a 3.0 GPA by the time they begin studies in Euromed Marseille are eligible.

Academic Credit
Credit will be awarded at MSU for all courses taken and passed at Euromed Marseille. The student's academic adviser at MSU, in consultation with the Office of International Programs, will determine how these credits will apply to degree course requirements. However, successful study at Euromed Marseille satisfies MSU's Multicultural/Global core curriculum requirement. Students are urged to work closely with their adviser and the office prior to departure to plan a course of studies which will maintain steady progress toward their degree.

Location
Marseille, the capital of the province of Provence, is one of France's most beautiful and historic cities. It is ideally situated on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The city has a number of universities, engineering schools, research centers, and high-tech companies that help contribute to Marseille's scientific climate.

Cost and Included Benefits
Business students who receive an exchange placement at Euromed Marseille will pay MSU tuition in the same amount as if studying in Bozeman. Business students who are not awarded exchange placements are Euromed Marseille will need to pay the "study abroad" fee to attend Euromed Marseille. (Visit the International Opportunities Resource Center for more information about this fee.) Each student is responsible for his/her room and board in France as well as trans-Atlantic travel expenses. Remember to plan for extra expenses such as internal travel and personal spending money as well as for unexpected changes in the exchange rate.

Financial Aid
Financial aid may be available for study abroad at Euromed Marseille. Additional costs for study at Euromed Marseille, such as travel to and from France, may be used in calculating the student's financial aid package. Students are responsible to apply to the Office of Financial Aid.

Application
Applications are available in the Office of International Programs at 400 Culbertson Hall. Please specify whether you will be applying as an engineering exchange student or a CCIS student when requesting an application.

Deadline
Applications are due in the Office of International Programs on October 1 to study in Marseille the following spring, and March 1 to study in Marseille the following fall.
