Comments: " I can say, without a doubt, that studying abroad is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. It opened my eyes to another part of the world, allowed me to appreciate another culture, and provided me with insight for my future. I studied at a tiny university in a town of about 8,000 people. With only six other students in the university, and living in the heart of the old part of town, I was plunged into Italian culture. During my time there, I made friends with local Italians, learned the language, and learned more about myself than I ever would have thought I could. It was, in short, a life changing experience."

Years Abroad: Fall 2004
Major: Elementary Education, Art Minor
Favorite Memory: "Living in the heart of Florence, travelling around Italy, meeting other foreigners, learning a language for a purpose, and studying art where art is abundant and full of history."
Comments: "I think if you are able to study abroad - everyone should take the chance to learn and grow in another culture. The friendships, the differences and similarities, the language, the food, the experiences - all are unforgetable memories."
