Locationfotografía biblioteca Universidad Pública de Navarra

The Public University of Navarra is located in Pamplona, the capital city of Navarre, a region in Northern Spain that shares a border with France.  Pamplona is a lively student city of 200,000 that is well known for its San Fermin festival and bull runs in July.  Pamplona's origins began as prominent Roman town during the 2nd century that was later controlled by the Visigoths and the Moors.  During the Middle Ages, the Kingdom of Navarre reached great splendor and was an important stop for thousands of pilgrims traveling to Santiago de Compostela.  Today students can revel in Pamplona's rich cultural heritage and enjoy the city's plentiful parks and gardens.  The city's numerous parks make it one of the largest "green cities" in Europe.  Just one hour away from ski slopes and the beach, Pamplona offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, and climbing.
