2009 International Leaders in Education Program (ILEP)

Initiated in 2005, the International Leadership in Education Program (ILEP) brings outstanding secondary teachers from all over the world to experience firsthand the developement of secondary education in the United States. Program participants will develop themselves professionally and personally by attending university and specialty courses and interning at local schools. MSU’s College of Education, Health and Human Development will provide the academic foundation for ILEP.  The College enjoys a strong and highly respected reputation in the field of teacher education and professional development.  The College’s Department of Education, includes a faculty of more than thirty whose unique areas of research and expertise provide depth and breadth to draw upon in conducting this program.
