All LEAP participants have the opportunity to meet with various offices around campus during their time at MSU. OIP will help the LEAPers set up informational meetings with various administrative offices around campus that have hosted LEAPers for internships in the past. These informational meetings will be a wonderful opportunity for the LEAPers to practice their English, meet and network with campus professionals, and learn more about the university and its operations. The following offices have previously hosted LEAP interns:
- ACE Language Institute
- Family and Graduate Housing
- Honor's Program
- Department of Modern Languages and Literature
- WorldMontana
- Museum of the Rockies
- Office of International Programs
- Provost's Office
- Office of Sponsored Programs
- Montana 4-H Center for Youth Development
- Dean of Students Office
- Office of Planning and Analysis
MSU informational meetings will begin on a staggered basis prior to the start of the colloquium, depending on how individuals are progressing with their ESL studies. LEAP participants, in consultation with OIP staff members, will set up meetings depending on their personal schedules. This will allow them to make best use of their time and ensure that they not interfere with their ESL coursework and other activities.
