Yui Nakama, Okinawa Global Leadership Program alumna, is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Policy and Public Administration at the George Washington University under the Fulbright scholarship. Her research focuses on Space Safety, Security and Sustainability Policy, drawing upon her background in Economics and International Politics gained at the University of Tokyo, Japan

In January 2024, she started a new job as an assistant for the Summit for Space Sustainability at Secure World Foundation in D.C.

Yui is also a Global Fellow at European Space Policy Institute in Vienna, a Senior Consultant at Euroconsult, and a Space Business Specialist at Green Carbon Inc. in Tokyo.

Wasim (31) is a serial entrepreneur and business leader who has made a global impact in multiple industries at a young age. Wasim is a computer engineer and also a lawyer specializing in cyber-security. He is the Founder of Loop, an impact-driven Hi-tech organization that is designed to provide 20,000+ youth and young talents, access to computer science, coding education, and tech incubators. Wasim presented Loop at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford in 2016 among other international forums and will lead a Loop delegation to the U.S. on request from interested U.S. organizations to share their model and explore future cooperation. In addition, he is the Co-Founder of Altooro, a start-up, that features an Artificial Intelligence-based talent prediction and evaluation platform that secured $2.5 million in venture capital funding last year. Wasim was selected by TheMarker, a leading Israeli news and opinion publication, as one of Israel’s most promising young professionals in 2022. He also participated in the USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Fellows Program in Dubai. He is an alumnus of the Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative Student Leaders Program at Montana State University in 2015.

Nora Chaynane, a Student Leaders Program alumnus of 2019, has successfully formed the business she had envisioned at the start of the program. It is called "Shine Space," and its aim is to give students the personal and professional skills they need to prepare for the career realm.
