Hardware Repair Service
for MSU-Owned Computers
The University Information Technology's Hardware Repair Service supports MSU-owned computers only. To request service on your MSU-owned computer contact the UIT Service Desk at 994-1777 or email@example.com.
Please go to the UIT Service Desk located in the Renne Library Commons on the first floor to drop off or pick up your computer.
A departmental index number is required for all payments at the time of drop off.
Personally-Owned Computer Repair
UIT does not provide repair service for the personally-owned computers of students, staff or faculty.
For non-warranty repair of personally-owned computers - Students, faculty and staff can contact the MSU Bookstore.
ResNet Services for Student Campus Residents
ResNet is MSU's subscription based network for campus residents and provides the following services to its subscribers:
- Virus, spyware, and adware scans
- Operating system installs/reloads with backups
- Hardware support/installs
- Network diagnostics
- Computer troubleshooting
