How to Dispose of Your IT Equipment
Safety & Risk Management recycles campus computer and electronic equipment that is no longer needed or beyond repair. To schedule an e-scrap pickup please complete and submit an E-scrap form. For more information on the types of equipment that can be recycled and the procedure to do so please visit the SRM E-scrap site.
Before recycling or reissuing computer equipment be sure that all personal data has been wiped from the hard drive prior to passing it along. If a charity or school has asked you to donate your old computers use the same E-Scrap form above but make a note in the comment section with your wishes.
