About the Data Center
The ITC Data Center located in AJM Johnson Hall is a robust and high availabilty facility for MSU's critical equipment and application needs. It is outfitted with enterprise grade power distribution systems that include Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and on-site backup generator in cases of utility power loss. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is redundant to ensure continuous operation and critical temperature control. It includes an advanced FM200 equipped fire suppression system.
The data center is designed to function on a 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 days per year schedule. Security consists of 24X7 video surveillance, motion detection, and forced door entry alarm in order to protect your critical server and equipment infrastructure.
Facilities Access
The ITC Data Center, located in AJM Johnson Hall, Room 22A can be accessed by authorized users via a Cat Card reader.
To have your Cat Card programmed for access:
- Complete a Campus Key Request Form.
- Have form signed by Rod Laakso (IT Center Operations, Renne Rm 65).
- Return signed form to Facilities Services (Plew Building, 6th & Grant St.).
You will be notified by Facilities Services when your card has been authorized.
Fees
$8 per rack unit/month
Rack Mounted Server monthly fee per rack unit
(i.e. 1U server = $8/mo. | 2U server = $16/mo.)

$50 (one-time-fee) IP address - ITC's standard set up cost will be applied to each request
