When should you report a suspected violation of computing policies?

You should report a suspected violation of computing policies if:
You receive a threatening or harassing email.
You receive spam that originated at an MSU Northern email address, one that ends in @msun.edu or an MSU Northern IP address.
You receive promotional information for a private business from an MSU Northern email address.
You feel that a law is being broken through use of MSU Northern's information technology.
An MSU Northern email address has sent you a virus.
You suspect your computer has been scanned or otherwise compromised.
You have found an MSU Northern website that has been defaced.
Please complete and submit the Incident Report Form below, if you have experienced one of the above incidents or suspect an abuse of MSU Northern's computing policies.
