| Overview |
The role of the Health Professions Advising office is to facilitate advising, networking, and educational planning for undergraduate, graduate and MSU alumni students pursuing careers in the health professions, including medical, dental, physician assistant, pharmacy, and others. The staff of the Health Professions Advising office provides guidance to students as they explore career options, obtain professional school prerequisites, and complete the professional school application process. This individual will serve as the point person for the Office of Health Professions Advising and will represent the office to the MSU community, medical schools, alumni and current and prospective students. This person will maintain calendars, organize and monitor confidential student files for application to medical schools and other graduate programs in the health professions, and participate in planning and organizing meetings and conferences. | ||||||||||
