Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremony

  • Saturday, May 6, 2017, Brick Breeden Fieldhouse
  • Processional to begin at 1:10 PM, ceremony to start at 1:30 PM

College of Letters and Science Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremony Celebration

The College of Letters and Science will hold a commencement celebration on Saturday, May 6, immediately following the commencement ceremony (approximately 3:30 PM). The celebration will be held in the Gaines Hall Foyer (just north of the Field House). Snacks and refreshments will be served. This is open to all College of Letters and Science graduating students and their loved ones. No RSVP needed. Department Awards Ceremonies and Graduation Celebrations

Chemistry and Biochemistry
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will have an Undergraduate Awards Celebration on Thursday, April 27 at 4:30 PM in the Byker Auditorium in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Building.

Earth Sciences
The Department of Earth Sciences will hold an awards ceremony in conjunction with the Earth Sciences Colloquium on April 13th. The dinner and awards ceremony event will be from 5 to 7:30 PM in SUB B, C and D.

English
The Department of English will have an awards ceremony from 4 to 5:30 PM on April 17th in SUB 233/235.

History, Philosophy and Religious Studies
The department will have a student award ceremony on Monday, April 17 at the Story Mansion starting at 6 PM.

Mathematical Sciences
The Department of Mathematical Sciences will have an awards ceremony Wednesday, April 12 from 4 to 6 PM in the Leigh Lounge in the SUB.

Physics
Physics will have an end-of-the-year awards ceremony and celebration on Wednesday, April 12 at 4:15 PM in the Second Floor Atrium of Barnard Hall.
