At the close of the semester, all groups should have completed preparations to enable component fabrication to begin promptly next Semester:

  • The component and system designs should be completed, and well-documented with an accurate and professionally-prepared engineering drawing set.
  • The chosen design should be backed up with a thorough and correct analysis.
  • Orders for ALL required parts and materials should have been submitted.
  • A complete manufacturing plan should be ready for implementation.
  • Your Sponsor must be on-board, and your Faculty Advisor should be in-the-loop and supportive of the next steps.

If your group cannot claim these milestones by the end of the term, your project is in jeopardy.
Work smart to ensure you are poised for success in the upcoming semester!

Have a great break, and be safe...
