German Film series this fall: September 17, October 8, November 5. Helena Maria Viramontes, Author and Professor of Creative Writing at
Cornell University (Ithaca, NY) will be here to give a talk titled "Borders
and Crossroads on the Streets of East L.A." on Thursday, September 27th at 7
p.m., Bozeman Public Library. See this
link for more information! Azouz Begag, noted French novelist, essayist, screenwriter, sociologist,
and former French Minister for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities, will be
visiting MSU this fall. He will give a public lecture on October 30 at 7:00
p.m. in SUB Ballrooms B&C. We sponsored a two-part film series last year, "Why Don't They Just Go Home?", presented in
conjunction with the Bozeman Film Festival. Read this
