Technical Requirements

 

This course will be delivered using Desire2Learn (D2L). If you decide to register for an on-line course you'll need a connection to the internet and a browser.

To verify that your computer is ready to interact with Desire2Learn, click the “System Check” link on the Desire2Learn entry page.  This System Check ensures your computer system is properly configured for use with Desire2Learn by verifying the browser version, browser settings and display settings on your computer. The System Check also ensures that you have any plug-ins that your courses require.


Some Quick Tips:

  • Montana State University is presently using Desire2Learn version 8.4.0
  • Recommended:
    • Computer with current operating system
      • Windows XP or Vista
      • Mac OS X (up to 10.5 – Leopard)
    • Internet Acces
  • If you have taken a Desire2Learn course previously, your existing account will be given access to the course on the first day of class. If you have never taken a Desire2Learn course, you will receive your unique login account prior to the first day of class.
