The list of projects and their stages below are those that were in the pipeline as of the conclusion point of the initiative phase. Current projects in the pipeline are now in a single portfolio of integration and IT projects that is maintained by the Planning & Program Management Office (PPMO). Degree Audit and Advising Implementing a degree auditing system will allow students and advisors to monitor progress toward degree, document advising decisions, and scenario-test the impact to the student of a change in major. By automating the tracking of degree requirements, faculty will have more time to spend on the mentoring relationship in academic advising. Identity Management We will convene a team of people to begin investigating the potential for a university-wide identity management implementation. This will be a very large-scale effort involving process and procedure changes in many areas and layers of the university. It is an extremely complex undertaking that we have been unable to consider before due to lack of coordinated effort, but that through the coordination and collaboration of MSUii and OneMSU we can now consider. It has the potential to be a significant improvement to the security risks and procedural complexities of identity usages at the university.

It enables transparency into program and project costs and usage, primarily for effective IT management.
